What am I doing over here anyway? I shoot lead conicals and patched roundballs in half-inch doses. My next purchase will be a Traditions Kentucky Rifle. I will kick myself out of this thread.

There would be massive civil unrest around here. Unimaginable.

Okay. So you're really into reloading. Then you probably don't want to buy these 5.7 rifles that don't exist.

I've been impressed by the rifles these guys turn out. Interesting reading here too.

I'd choose it over Hornet. It's cheaper. I'd rather have a small boltgun in 5.7 than in .22 Hornet. I'm not well read on the hype. I don't read gunrags and don't frequent the big gunboards. I read ogre's post about these two calibers and realized he was right.
5.7 is win

Very good idea about having all those nifty little firearms chambered for Hornet switched over to 5.7. It's one of those ideas that are so good and obvious that you wonder why it hasn't happened already. I really wouldn't mind a boltgun in 5.7.

I tried that weird savage trigger today. Awesome. If that 22 has the same trigger, and it looks like it does, Id get it.

The legality of keeping the SAW is the same as keeping that tiny M4. The gestapo classifies both as machineguns.

If given access to their weapons ALL returning servicemen would almost instantly start robbing banks and go on spree killings. Just like the Izzies and Swiss.

Yeah, I'd like to go to a competition using SxS scatterguns and single action revolvers, but I'm not doing that renfair shit.

Zombie Rinos maybe. Around my corner of the interwebz we judge 22mag to be the premo zombie stopper. Only head shots count and you need to pack a lot of rounds, so 22 mag is the blessed cartridge. Many choose 22lr, but I give the human head more credit in the toughness dept. Muzzle report is a factor too, as well as action noise...we came up with a lever action 22mag with a muffler and spike bayonette as the best tool for zeds.
4 lulz.

Looks very much like the Tracker 209, and I LOVE my 209. If you're thinking about getting into BP, this might be the time.
