The CCF might be what you're after, I've had mine apart for cleaning a few times, very simple.

I think it works very well and is well made (not spot welded together). I only have about 200 rounds through it (I'm also using a USP Tactical) but it has had no stoppages. The level of suppression is good, I can shoot it without hearing protection and not get any ringing in my ears.
The September 2007 issue of Special Weapons magazine has an article comparing suppressors from Advanced Armament Corp (AAC), Knight's Armament Company (KAC) and Capital City Firearms (CCF). The levels of suppression given in their testing show all three being within two decibels of each other either wet or dry.

[suppression levels in decibels]
KAC. dry 22,wet 32
AAC. dry 21,wet 32
CCF. dry 20,wet 33

Okay, I'll go first.

This is my first try at posting a picture so if I dork this up, please bear with me. The supressor is a CCF Swiss Impulse II-A, the shotgun is a 14" barreled 590.

SOG PE II. It's a good knife but a bit big for daily carry. I'd put a picture of it on here but I'm a complete computer fucktard.

Edged weapons

In my opinion (I don't think I have the right to add to the Ogre "list-o-things-to-do", just saying is all) this board/forum needs an edged weapon section, what say you?

Which FN the PBR or the SPR?

-dirk-pitt

I'm leaning towards the SPR. Like most people, I'll mostly be punching paper (no jumping out of planes, my days as a Marine ended in the 80's) so weight of the rifle is not much of an issue.
Og, do they use the SPR or the PBR at LRI?
Thanks for the input, jimspur.

Thinking about a new "tactical" rifle.

Thinking about a new "tactical" rifle. A friend suggests the FN in .308 w/ the heavy 24" barrel. Lets hear your opinions.

Re: Sig Mosquito

Picked it up the other day, went straight to the range (so the gun was not properly lubricated) and shot 100 rounds of CCI mini mags. It groups well (1.5", off hand at 30') and I had no failures to feed or eject. The only thing "wrong" with it was the slide did not lock to the rear after the last round in the mag cycled. Thumbs up so far. Thanks to you who commented, Jimspur.

Sig Mosquito

Hi all,
What are your opinions of the Sig "Mosquito". My local shop has new ones with the threaded barrel for $350.
