I know different situations call for different set up of gear. What I mean is how one carries their stuff. I Iraq I used a Spec-Ops drop down holster for my M-9 on my right thigh and my ammo was on a left thigh rig. (though in training I usually had a dump pouch for my spent magazines.) I liked the Spec-ops holster because it kept it from flopping all over the place like a few other holsters I saw. My twin used an army issue holster but with an after market thumb break, on a thigh rig. I kept my body armor mostly clear of stuff, though I think I kept my spare M-9 mag on it. There are some people that like to carry everything in the catalog at once and it doubles their mass. I assume hunting requires a different layout. Tell us what you use and how you use it to carry yo' stuff.

Holster is a Galco Combat Master for my 1911 Government models and a Galgo SIL for my shorter 1911's.
Nothing really fancy or all that unique... just simple stuff that works.
2 MRE's about 2 liters of water, socks, underwear, pants, and layers for torso. Gloves. First aide kit. And a crapload of ammunition. In the drag bag, I have more ammo, binos, data book, and some weapon cleaning stuff.
My camo is usually Kings Outdoor World Desert Shadow, but my rain coat is this:

My color is the new Marine multicam digital camo. I like this jacket because its very light weight and the Marine's version of digital camo works great in my area of operations... has those desert colors, yet still blends with the more wooded areas. Worn over a fleece, it works extremely well and keeps you warm. It isn't a winter coat... I have a Kings Outdoor World Snow Shadow for my "it's fucking too cold outside" days.
