We've just watched our CONgress and President fundamentally and irrevocably alter the foundations of our economic and financial systems. Going forward, there is no area of the economy that will avoid nationalization. There will be no area of our daily lives free from top down, command and control authoritarianism.

We've watched them pop the corks, slap each others' backs, proclaim that we sent them to make 'hard' decisions, claim the mantles of 21st century FDRs, ignore hundreds of thousands if not millions of voter and taxpayer demands to stand down, they've flipped us the single-digit salute, dropped their pants and told us to suck their parts, cause they're the only ones smart enough to know what should be done. From now forward all costs can be socialized to the taxpayer while all profit will be privatized, flowing to CONgress and its friends.

SO, WHEN THE NEW BOSS COMES TO TOWN, HOW WILL WE PREVENT THE NEW 'GUN BAN AGENDA'? How will we avoid the outright bars to ownership, the huge taxes and regs that courts will find 'reasonable'? An expanded and energized ATF combined via MJTF authority to 'crack down' on gun criminals and enforce 'common sense' gun laws?

CONgress and a grasping Exec branch have just shown us who's in charge, and it's not US. AND NEXT MONTH, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE PRESIDENT, WE'LL RE-ELECT MOST EVERY ONE OF THESE TRAITORS.

OgreNation, we have a problem, and it's far larger than we imagine right now.

There is starting to be evidence that the Palin/McCain ticket has coat tails. That is the Democrats may very well loose seats in the House and the Senate.
While a lot of the conservative blog and forum sites are just preaching to the choir, more and more people are getting upset about Obamas long assosication with the far left.
Beside the Republican October surprieses, the Clinton/Puma group has been outing stuff with some MSM folks that are still friendly to them.
My own hairy wild ass guess is that Obamarama takes no more than 5 states total.

The polls have been over weighing with Democrats (some on purpose, some by counting the Republicans that crossed over to vote in the Democrat primaries. I figure you can take away about 5% from any Obama projection.

"That is the Democrats may very well loose seats in the House and the Senate."
That is the bigger picture and even more important that the Presidential.

Look, Congress has a 9% approval rating.
Sitting Congressmen need to be tossed out.

Tough to see how a sagging Mc-Palin ticket can spawn coat tails. True CONgress rating is lower than a snake's belly, but the Obama has effectively, in my view, insulated members from the wrath and retribution they richly deserve. The Obama's set up the evil Republican straw man as the target of the day.

Would be nice to replace at least 2/3 of the members, and the Founders probably thought we'd replace them on a regular basis. We don't. It would be nice to even toss a dozen or two of the most egregious violators of the public trust. We won't. Voter anger has been deflected from posturing pinheads on the hill to clowns like Lehman's Fuld. I hope you guys are right, but do not see this result.

Congress has skated, no one is listening to the facts; that congress set the framework for fraud and failure. Mc can't seem to find his sword, his sallies at Obama seem to bounce off like a .223 from armor plate.

Soldier on, it's all we can do.
