I've been hankering to do another parts kit build... I'm thinking of building a semi-auto PPS-43. I think it'd be a fun plinker and there's still plenty of inexpensive 7.62x25 commie ammo out there to use up.

Have any of you done one of these builds? Any suggestions, tips or pointers?

Actually these build instructions yield a better result: http://www.prexis.com/sten/homebuilder/index.php?topic=76.0

The kits for the PPSH 41 look pretty tempting as well. I know the real things're damn fun. That round is badass.also wouldn't mind a Tokarev in it. Well... two, for when watching John Woo flicks.
Know a guy who built a couple stens, and they turned out pretty well. Of course he took it a step too far and the ATF wasn't pleased.
Don't know if any of you guys are old enough to remember one of Harry Harrison's early books "Rebel in Time". So simple the confederacy could build them:-)
