Yeah, too bad about the chambering. But with Brenneke's spiffy drag-stabilized slugs and russia's all-brass 000 load it could hurt some gobblins. It's bolt head uses three big lugs and it doesn't use direct gas. If you're a personal protection specialist in Turkey, it's often the best you can get.

I wonder how it compares in price & dependability to the Saiga 410.

It'd be more expensive than the saiga, roughly double the price.

I'm disappointed that the G-3-based 12 gauge that one US company built didn't sell better. One of my friends used it in one of his books.

G-3-based 12 gauge? Ah, shit. I missed that one.

It was the early 2000's. I think the company became Bobcat, but the G3 12 gauge didn't last long.
