Hi all,
What are your opinions of the Sig "Mosquito". My local shop has new ones with the threaded barrel for $350.

Great platform. Like the Trailside better, but what can you do?

Some show finicky taste for ammo, others run anything you put through them. Sig will back up the gun, so it's a safe bet and generally few people have problems once they use good ammo. Try Velocitors first. They usually work the best.

HUGE Finicky about ammo, and it doesn't shoot anywhere near where the sights point... I had mine for all of 300 rnds. Really really sad, since it felt really good in hand.

doesn't take away my love for the 220 though.

I think the Sport model and the threaded barrel models are the best. They seem to have the lease issues and just seem to be put together a little bit better.

Picked it up the other day, went straight to the range (so the gun was not properly lubricated) and shot 100 rounds of CCI mini mags. It groups well (1.5", off hand at 30') and I had no failures to feed or eject. The only thing "wrong" with it was the slide did not lock to the rear after the last round in the mag cycled. Thumbs up so far. Thanks to you who commented, Jimspur.

My shooting buddy has one. It feels great in the hand and has excellent fit and finish, but it is finicky with ammo to an extreme. It seems to like CCI, but not much else. Forget about using any cheap plinking .22 ammo in it.
