Hell yea I am! Huge fan of Fallout 1 and 2 and looking forward to the release. I just hope Bethesda didn't screw up the vibe that Black Isle gave to the old games.
fan of both the elder scrolls games and the fallout series. i do worry a little bit that by trying to please the turn based isometric fanboys and the real time first person guys at the same time they might end up with a horrible mishmash that will please no one, but these doubts are very small. a more real concern is gameplay concessions for the consoles, but im a die hard PC man so i may be prejudiced...
even if it was just a morrowind/oblivion game with updated graphics and a fallout theme that would still be pretty awesome
Yup, I'm a fan too.
I just hope my P4 XP box can handle it. I don't think my Laptop could hope to touch it.
saw a game play video the other day,

gotta love the mini nuke gun
being able to whip the sniper rifle out and switch to turn based seems a little cheap, but oh so delightful....
Hi-Power, thanks for that video. I ordered it based on the reviews I read in Game Informer but now after watching the video I REALLY want to play it.
it really puts my lack of gaming hardware into serious perspective
I seriously have to figure out how to pump a new processor into my desktop box.
I want to smack the heck out of goram raiders with teddy bears and cans of soup launched from a leaf blower.
'sides, any game that gets Adam Sessler jumping up and down like a Beatles fan at LaGuardia Airport in 1964 is definitely A MUST HAVE.
FIVE out of FIVE.
This game should be great- Oblivion meets Fallout!
It's what STALKER should have been. When is this coming out?
I wonder about the copy protection.... cough... cough...
Between Fallout 3 and Gears of War 2, it's going to be a great 2nd half of '08 for gaming. Yes, I play on a Xbox 360, ( runs for cover...) But it's only because I can't afford a good gaming PC. The 360 doesn't require an upgrade every year, it has most of the games I want to play on the PC, and most importantly, it keeps the wife from giving you those nasty, raised eyebrow stares. But I do miss gaming with a mouse and keyboard. Diablo 3 may MAKE me upgrade....
If they would just make a keyboard and mouse for the XboX for Mouse Aiming - I'd get one too.

I completely agree. I have an Xbox 360, but I only buy shooting games for it if they are not available for my PC.
Using a controller for anything other than racing or flying is like riding the short bus.
One of these days, I'm gonna have to see if my Pavillion can get a piggyback processor or an upgraded processor.
And perhaps Microsoft will be extremely nice and make an optical drive that processes XBox360 games.
You can put in a new Mo-Bo and build a new system inside your case using existing components like RAM and drives to save a few bucks.
My old Dell P4 I have, I've upgraded the crap out of it... CPU, RAM, Graphics Card... I'm at the point now where I can't upgrade anything else without a major change in CPU type, Mo-Bo, RAM type and I'll have to go to PCIE graphics instead of the old ghetto (now) AGP. Which isn't all that bad to do. Oh... and the new SATA type drives instead of IDE.
Yeah...
I know...
Might as well just buy a whole new computer.
And I will.
If Fallout 3 can't play on this one. ;)
